With Counter-Strike, as well with other MODs and games, you can usually find certain techniques to master your gameplay. These weapon strategies are placed here to hopefully help improve your game performance and to possibly give you an edge over other players that just might make the difference while competing.

Heckler & Koch .45 USP Tactical his is the default weapon for the Counter Terrorists. Tap somebody in the head with this bad boy and they will go down quick. But then again, if you shoot anybody in the head they will go down quick... !!

Tips: This pistol is most effective if you have good accuracy. If you find your aim is not so great, you may want to avoid using this if you have the money or resources to get another gun, such as a fully automatic weapon. Use ducking and then firing for VERY accurate shots, ROCK!

Glock 18 Select Fire This is the default weapon for the Terrorists. The Secondary Fire changes the way the gun is used, one shot or Three round bursts, both are marginally accurate, but use Semi to conserve ammo, when far away.
Tips: You don't need as much accuracy as the USP to operate this weapon when the burst mode is used. The nice spread of bullets will take down a foe in few shots. The bullets are not as hurtful as the USP's so use the Glock's High Rate of Fire to your advantage.
Tricks: I recommend using the Glock's secondary fire more so than the primary in a closer range. For more distant warfare, try using single shots.

Desert Eagle .50AE The most powerful handgun in the game! One good shot with this mofo, and your opponent's as good as dead.. !
Tips: Make sure you have some accuracy to operate this beast. And most of all, aim for the head! Try to make sure you have enough rounds in your default weapon to back this gun up because it empties quick.
Tricks: This baby can go through items with the SAME power as a g3 when up close, neato.

SIG P228 A fast firing, and arguably the most efficient killer in CS. Extremely accurate and.... ROCKIN'!
Tips: You have a goos 13 rounds in this baby, just aim for the chest and higher and you're in for a good kill! Tricks: A vest+helmet and a P228 will keep you alive for a while, but an MP5 is a better choice, obviously.

Benelli M3 Super 90 Tactical A powerful source of damage when used in close combat. Mostly used in maps with small areas. It's cheap and effective.
Tips: Only use this gun in small areas. Distant warfare will result in a larger spread, and will do very little damage if none at all. Remember to reload when not firing, you wouldn't want to be in the middle of a gun fight and have to load your shells in, one by one times eight.
Tricks: Obviously get up close, one or two close shots will kill any enemy, unless they're armored.

xm1014 (M4 Super 90) A powerful source of damage when used in close combat. Treat like an Assault Rifle with M3 limitations of accuracy and 'clip' size.
Tips: Don't unload all rounds when no necessary.

Heckler & Koch MP5 Navy This is the most popular sub-machine gun of the 3 offered. This gun will hold a clip of 30 bullets, just like the TMP. Yay!
Tips: Better used in close combat than for distant targets. Clips seem to empty quick, so remember to reload when you are not firing.
Tricks: For the best accuracy, try tapping your primary fire constantly, instead of holding down the trigger. You'll do more damage, and you will keep the same rate of fire.

Steyr TMP (Tactical Machine Pistol) - CTs only This the cheapest of the 4 sub-machine guns, yet still a great choice. It has a slower RoF then the mp5, and it's accuracy isn't good at all.. It is also silenced for those stealthy sneak attacks. It seems certain people seem to master this weapons and turn it into a great one, from the lowest fo the pile..
Tips: When money is low, buy this over the MP-5. It holds the same amount of ammo, and is silenced. Better to use in close combat.

FN P90 A kickass SMG that holds fifty rounds..
Tips: Speed, power all at the cost of accuracy.. This is a spray and pray weapon..
Tricks: This gun really does rock, it's a better choice then the mp5 if you have the dough, 20 more rounds makes this gun.

Mac-10 - Ts only A cheap, but good weapon.. And powerful.
Tips: When money is low, buy this over the MP-5. It holds the same amount of ammo, and is silenced. Better to use in close combat.

AK-47 - Ts only The cheapest rifle to buy in the game. The AK-47 only holds 150 (30 in the clip, 120 back up) bullets at a time, so use your shots wisely, considering you'll rip through them if not.
Tips: Capable of shooting through thin objects. Use that advantage.
Tricks: One of the loudest guns in the game, stealth goes out the door with this baby, but it's made up with it's huge damage capability.

SSG-552 Commando - Ts only One loud and powerful gun! This gun can own a match, if used correctly. This gun also has a scope to allow one level of zooming.
Tips: Like all other rifles, the Commando can also shoot through thin objects, remember that!
Tricks: When you hold down the trigger, your spread of bullets is very wide, thus making the Commando a little inaccurate. Fix this problem by tapping your primary fire to get the most accurate shots possible, or by zooming, which slowers your rate of fire.

Colt M4A1 Carbine - CTs only This nasty little bugger is your good-all-round fully automatic rifle. It is capable of firing over a distance. It's more powerful and accurate than the sub-machine guns, but comes at a larger price. This seems to be the most accurate fully automatic rifle in the game. (Can only be purchased by the CT faction).

Tips: Use the silencer's inherent stealth to your advantage.
Tricks: Because this gun is capable of shooting through thin obstacles, you can have an edge over enemies with weaker guns that cannot. Hide behind a door or window (window camping is considered very cheap, so don't camp but go there temporarily or to stage an ambush) for example, and when you think someone is approaching, let the bullets fly.

AUG - CTs only Extremly powerful and accurate, combined with a zoom feature, the AUG happens to kick total ass.
Tips: Duck for full accuracy!
Tricks: Because this gun is capable of shooting through thin obstacles, you can have an edge over enem
